MTI Title Solutions is a Florida based LLC with offices also in Nevada, California, Ohio and Virginia. CEO Mike Gomez was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada before moving to Lakeland, Florida in 2020. Mike spent 20 years in the title industry, first as a Foreclosure Trustee then as a Title Officer. He always looked up to the bravery of the entrepreneur but never considered that path for himself until getting laid off two weeks before his daughter was due to be born. He decided then and there to take the security and future of his family into his own hands and start something for himself. In late 2016, he came up with the name “MTI Title Solutions”, MTI being an acronym for Mike, Tammy and Iris, which is Mike’s wife and daughter. Both Mike as an individual and the company as a whole are stout supporters of patriotism and capitalism, believing that this beautiful country is truly the land of opportunity. Mike, having learned this first-hand from his father, an immigrant from Mexico who legally emigrated to our country in the 60’s to shortly thereafter join the army and serve as a guard on the Berlin Wall during the Cold War. After serving his four years, he came home, got a degree and started his own business which he ran and operated until he passed away.
Joining Mike in 2021 is Doug Southwick, another title expert that also happens to be Mike’s best friend since Kindergarden, now serving as Title Operations Manager.
Mike and Doug have assembled an unbelievable pool of in-house talent, bringing all their experience and expertise to bear on every order that comes in and goes out the door. In addition to this, we have offices in five states and a network of abstractors working exclusively for MTI across the country to help insure a prompt turnaround time and enabling us to keep our prices competitive.
We currently cover 30 states with eyes on soon expanding into Arkansas, New Mexico, Utah and Vermont.
